Risorgi Freedom License (RFL‑1)

Legal Terms

1. Definitions

• “Work” means any content submitted, uploaded, or shared by the Licensor.
• “Licensor” means the individual or entity that owns the copyright in the Work.
• “Licensee” means any person or entity exercising rights granted under this license.

2. Grant of Rights

The Licensor grants every Licensee a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:

• Use, copy, reproduce, publish, and display the Work, in whole or in part.
• Modify, remix, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from the Work.
• Distribute, sublicense, or otherwise exploit the Work, for any purpose, including commercial use.

These rights are granted unconditionally, with no attribution, notice, or permission required, ensuring that the Work is fully free for all to use, forever.

3. Retained Copyright and Ownership

The Licensor retains full copyright and ownership of the original Work, remaining legally recognized as its creator.

Retaining copyright means the Licensor may use, license, sell, or share their Work elsewhere under any terms they choose.

This retention of ownership does not limit the freedoms granted by this license.

Licensees have permanent, unrestricted rights to use, copy, share, and remix the Work.

While Licensees cannot claim copyright or ownership over the Licensor’s original Work, they may hold rights over their own new contributions, modifications, or derivative works.

4. Moral Rights

The Licensor remains the moral author of the Work and retains all moral rights provided by law.

However, the Licensor agrees not to use or assert those rights to restrict or challenge any use, modification, or redistribution permitted under this license.

This ensures that the freedoms granted by this license can be fully exercised worldwide, even in jurisdictions that do not allow for a full waiver of moral rights.

5. Irrevocability

This license is permanent and irrevocable. Once granted, the rights contained herein cannot be withdrawn, limited, or terminated by the Licensor.

6. No Warranty and Limitation of Liability

The Work is provided “as-is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

The Licensor makes no representations or guarantees about the Work’s accuracy, safety, legality, or fitness for any purpose.

The Licensor shall not be liable for any damages, claims, or losses arising from the use, modification, or distribution of the Work.

7. Relationship to Other Laws

This license is intended to operate worldwide, consistent with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

If any provision of this license is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

8. Risorgi Non-Responsibility

Risorgi is not a party to this license and assumes no responsibility or liability for:

• The authorship, originality, or legality of any Work uploaded.
• How this license is applied, interpreted, or enforced by any Licensor or Licensee.
• Any disputes, damages, or violations arising from the use or misuse of RFL-1 or of licensed content.
• Risorgi provides this license “as-is,” purely as a framework for open sharing, and is not responsible for monitoring, moderating, or verifying compliance with it.
