Tylenol doesn't just kill pain - it kills empathy & emotions.

According to a few studies, when people take acetaminophen (paracetamol) they have reduced expressions of both positive and negative feelings towards others' experiences.

Apparently this is because this drug reduces brain activity in the "anterior insula and anterior parts of the cingulate cortex," regions involved in networks that facilitate emotional awareness.
